I’m a Pittsburgh native with a passion for fitness. I love cycling, body pumping and lifting. I’ve been teaching cycle since 2015 and have loved every second of it. My main drive in class is the music; I get so excited to play certain songs! When I create playlists and think, ‘someone’s going to identify with this song!’ or ‘they are going to love this one!’ then I know it’s ready to play in class. My goal is for everyone to get a great workout while sweating to at least one song they love. Great music makes all the difference when you’re trying to push through tough efforts. I like to challenge the riders and there’s no better feeling than when they say they beat their PR or that they never thought they’d be able to do the workout, but they killed it! Everyone is strong in their own way and I want them to feel it. I want riders to leave class proud of themselves because they should be! It’s dedication and motivation that brings them in. Even if it’s their first ride, they should be proud of starting something new and not being afraid of challenge. Because overall, challenge creates change. That is my motivation and that is what makes (and keeps) me excited to teach, even at 5:30 am.
